Today is Memorial Day in the U.S., when we Americans pay tribute to our fallen veterans by drinking a lot of beer and eating barbecue, burgers, and hot dogs.It is also the 59th birthday of the incredible Pam Grier, who starred in some of the greatest Blaxploiation epics of all time, including Coffy (1973) and Foxy Brown (1974), as well as Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown (1997).
She's currently playing a lesbian on The L Word.
