The Mal Thursday Show #8: Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Bush

This time out we've got a very special episode for you, much like The Mal Thursday Show #6: The Girl-Getters, as we salute the 1968 film Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Bush, directed by Clive Donner, screenplay by Hunter Davies based upon his novel. It's all about a boy named Jamie, played by Barry Evans, who's keen to lose his virginity at the earliest possible opportunity. We'll be telling the story with excerpts from the soundtrack, and the music of various British and American beat groups.

Presented in Living Monophonic Sound.

Florida Rocks Again!: Hurricane!

Once again, it's hurricane season in the Sunshine State, and this episode of Florida Rocks Again! is all about the tropical storms that heap abuse upon Floridians every year around this time. So here's a collection of garage, rock 'n' roll, deep soul, and country rock nuggets all about the stormy weather that is an unfortunate fact of life in Florida.

Batten down the hatches, and turn it up so you can hear it over the howling wind.

Florida Rocks Again!: Radio Silence

Ordinarily, I would be posting the playlist for this week's episode of Florida Rocks Again!, but unfortunately the powers that be at The Blizzard have decided to suspend all specialty programming for the time being, if not permanently.

While this throws a monkey wrench into our statewide syndication plans, I am more concerned with disappointing all of our listeners from around the world who will tune into the Live365 stream tonight and wonder what happened to the show.
